​Standard Bank required a centralised solution to remotely manage all their servers whilst also complying with the group's eco directive to reduce its carbon footprint.

C5 Alliance created a SAN environment, teamed with virtualisation technologies; migrating data from twelve physical servers to four virtual servers using VM Ware technology. The Bank is now able to carry out remote server maintenance within short order and without impact to the business. Power requirements of the data centre have also been considerably reduced meeting the directive for reduced carbon emissions.
